about us
CANINO was founded by Igor and Jennifer with a shared belief that dogs deserve more than supervision. Great care should be thoughtful, structured, and built around the individual dog. From the beginning, the goal was never simply to keep dogs busy—it was to create a place where they could feel safe, understood, and well cared for throughout the day.
Our approach is centered on safety, structure, and individualized care. We combine appropriate socialization, purposeful activity, individual attention, and time to rest and reset. By paying attention to temperament, energy, comfort, and behavior, we can make thoughtful decisions about what each dog needs throughout their day.
Safety, cleanliness, consistency, and careful observation guide everything we do. We believe good care means knowing when a dog is ready to play, when they need a break, and when a small change in behavior deserves attention.
At CANINO, a successful day isn’t measured by how tired a dog is when they go home. It’s measured by whether they felt safe, engaged, understood, and genuinely cared for.

THE CANINO DIFFERENCE
Every dog has a different temperament, energy level, and comfort zone. We pay attention to the individual and adjust care throughout the day based on what that dog needs.
Safety guides every decision we make—from temperament evaluations and thoughtfully managed groups to attentive supervision and clear care protocols.
Activity should have a purpose. We combine appropriate play, movement, mental engagement, and individual attention without keeping dogs in constant stimulation.
Good care starts with paying attention. Our team observes behavior, body language, energy, and social interactions so we can respond thoughtfully throughout the day.
Dogs need time to decompress and reset. Appropriate rest helps prevent overstimulation and gives dogs the opportunity to return to activity feeling comfortable and ready.
Consistent cleaning, sanitation, and carefully maintained spaces are essential to protecting the health and comfort of every dog entrusted to us.

To start using our services, all clients must create a profile in our customer portal. Your dog must be up to date on vaccinations and fixed by 7 months of age. We require dogs to be fixed by 7 months to ensure a safer play environment, prevent unwanted behaviors, and reduce the risk of conflicts in group settings.
Puppies must be at least 4 months old to attend daycare. Puppies under 6 months do not require a temperament test but can attend a special “puppy first day” session offered on Mondays and Fridays. A negative fecal exam must be provided 2 weeks before the first visit.
